We are Drillbone – an innovative orthopaedic company based in Brno (founded in 2020) that develops and sells its own surgical instruments used in the Czech Republic and abroad. 

We are a small company with a close-knit team, where things are handled directly and quickly. Every one of us has a real impact on how the company operates and grows. 

We work with a smaller portfolio of our own technologies that provide a clear clinical benefit. 

We are entering the next phase of our growth and are looking for someone who will help us develop our business activities in international markets and become a partner to the company's management in shaping the company's future. 

What will be your role? 

• Develop the company's business strategy. 
• Identify new business opportunities in international markets. 
• Build long-term relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), surgeons, hospitals and business partners. 
• Participate in setting up the business model, pricing strategy and cooperation model for individual markets. 
• Negotiate commercial terms and build long-term partnerships. 
• Present Drillbone technologies at congresses, workshops and professional events. 
• Work closely with the company's management on the further development of the company. 

Who are we looking for? 

• You have at least 3–5 years of experience in business development, strategic international business or medical device sales. 
• You are able to independently identify new business opportunities and turn them into tangible results. 
• You are strong in building long-term relationships, and you feel confident in business negotiations. 
• Experience in international business or international market development is an advantage. 
• You enjoy working in a smaller family-owned company where independence, proactivity and flexibility are essential. 
• Travel is part of the role, but a large part of the agenda is handled online. 
• Fluent Czech and English. German is an advantage. 
• Experience in orthopaedics, traumatology or surgery is an advantage, but not a requirement.
